Tall White Mocha for Josh

Ok..so here is my first blog post. I actually tried a blog several years ago, but never kept up with it. As a matter of fact if you search on here it can probably be found somewhere I'm sure. Either way I figure it's high time for me to share my vast array of knowledge (or opinions, same thing basically) with the world or at least the people I know. So, this is where you come to see my crazy stories and words of wisdom. With that said here is my experience of the day that made me decide it was high time for me to blog:

So I was post call this afternoon and decided I would run a few errands this afternoon before coming home to relieve our babysitter. One of the things on my list was to go to Barnes and Noble to get the book that we are supposed to have read by next week for our couples book club (more on that at a later date, though I should preface it by saying it was my idea). So, naturally I go into the bookstore and of course they don't have the book I need. Well, while I'm there I figure hey I'll get a coffee, so maybe I don't fall asleep again. I go over to the Starbucks, which I'm sure will thrill my wife since she just bought one of those expensive keurig personal coffee machines and order my drink. It's way too expensive naturally, but then the "barista" finishes my drink and proceeds to say "and that's one tall white mocha for Josh" with her cutesy peppy attitude. Now I know most of you are saying, ok so big deal, so you got an employee that was in a good mood that's a good thing right. Ok, but here's the thing I was THE ONLY person in the line. I mean come on is really necessary for her to make me feel like my drink is soooo personalized. She has no idea who I am, but they insist, they have to tell me a "blah blah blah FOR JOSH." I mean seriously do people have that much of a need to feel special? That is a rhetorical question I know the answer to this, but it just really peaved me today. That's not even to mention the fact that Starbucks is to cool to use Small, Medium and Large or the fact that I really didn't even get the drink that I wanted because most of their syrups were sugar free and we all know I'm on that quest for Diabetes. Well I think that is it for now. A rather light start for all those of you that know me, but I figured it was something to get me warmed up and potentially into this blog thing, so hopefully they'll be more to come. Those are my words of wisdom for today.
